Notre Dame des Pallieres' 2020 Côtes du Rhône Villages-Sablet 'l'Olivet' is produced from a blend of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah. Dark ruby purple in color, from first sip it is just bursting with youthful exuberance.
With air the wine begins to open and, on the palate, shows sweet, supple tannins, excellent concentration and density, beautiful raspberry/mulberry fruit, a touch of black pepper, and some enticing garrigue spice in the finish. Seamless and deceptively smooth on the palate, the long, enticing flavors deepen with time.
