History:Grenache grapes form the core of the Côtes du Rhone Villages wines, bring a strong structure with noticeable tannins that are well wrapped in warmth. The freshness of the Syrah grapes completes the harmony, with offering their aromas and delicacy.

Welcoming modern cultivation and oenological techniques, the Domaine du Vieux Chene remains nevertheless faithful to traditional wine-making methods for its Cotes du Rhone Villages wines. Without any cultivated yeast, the maceration takes place with crushed fruit, with then careful pumping-up of the fermenting juice so as to preserve the fruit. The natural fermentation temperature encourage the extraction of the wine tannins.
