History:At the center of the Alpilles and a few miles from Baux de Provence, one finds the beautiful organic winery Mas de Gourgonnier. At Mas de Gourgonnier, the Cartier family makes geautiful reds, whites, and rosés.

Luc Cartier set himself up alongside his father in the 1960s and then in 1990 was joined by his sons. Currently, there are 45 ha under management and 20 ha of olives for their famed olive oil. The vineyards grow a variety of grapes, such as: grenache, syrah, cinsault, carignan, mourvèdre, cabernet-sauvignon for the red wines and sauvignon blanc, grenache blanc, and rolle for the whites.
