History:A lord of the Côte de Nuits who makes, according to Robert Parker, "marvellous" wines. Hudelot Noellat has been in Chambolle-Musigny for many generations and is considered amongst the best. Hudelot has holdings in Richebourg and Romanée-Saint-Vivant. But the village wines from the domaine are no poor contenders. The village wines are filled with finesse and richness that can hold up for many years.

In a tasting that Robert Parker conducted of top flight burgundies in 2004, the Richebourg from Hudelot-Noellat "was the most pleasant surprise of the tasting as it soared past our expectations. It was every bit as good as the Richebourg (DRC), our other superstar of the evening." Clearly, Hudelot is amongst the superstars of the region.
