New Beer Update

We have some exciting new beers for sale this week!

Cambridge Brewing Company Tripel Threat: The very first Belgian Style beer brewed in America over 20 years ago. The aroma brings notes of baking spice, apple and pear. Not a particularly intense aroma, but pleasent and good for the style. The flavor, however, explodes on your palate, with honeyed apple, banana bread, earthy spice and candi sugar. It's smooth and rich, easy to sip on with no alcohol flavor.

Crispin Stagger Lee: A barrel aged unfiltered cider from Minnesota. Crispin has an interesting process in which they blend the fermented cider with fresh apple juice and a natural sweetener. This cider is exceptionally dry, with a bright acidity and earthy finish. Hints of caramelized sweetness and bourbon peek through and of course there is a complex essence of apple throughout. This would be excellent with pork chops and sauteed apples.

Jack's Abbey Saxonator Doppelbock: A spot-on German style doppelbock made in Framingham. Beautiful melanoidin aroma that borders on roasty. Wonderful smooth texture with an extremely clean flavor. Layers of caramel and dark fruit, dates, raisins and plums. This beer is one of the smoothest I have had all year, I just cannot get over how great the texture is. A great match for roasted game meats or any German food.
